South Korea will double its Korean-language AI training data by 2030

At the 580th Hangul Day ceremony, Prime Minister Han Seung-soo announced that Korean-language corpora for AI will grow from 174 to 340 by 2030, Sejong Institutes from 273 to more than 350, and the countries offering Korean courses from 51 to over 70. About 240,000 people learned Korean at Sejong Institutes last year.
