The bark that saved a life: a Kansas dog fetched the police for its fallen owner

In Leawood, Kansas, a dog on a leash barked at a patrolling officer — then led him half a block back to its own home. Inside the garage, the officer found the homeowner on the floor, where he had lain for more than three hours after a fall. The man got medical treatment and is recovering at home. The Leawood Police Department shared the bodycam footage. Loyalty with a leash — and perfect timing.
