The first enhanced geothermal plant — built in 23 months

Fervo Energy has switched on the world's first enhanced geothermal power plant — and did it in under two years. Unlike traditional geothermal, it drills deep into hot rock, delivering clean electricity around the clock, rain or shine. Google and Southern California Edison have already signed up to buy its power.
