The malaria vaccine is saving children's lives, WHO confirms

A large-scale evaluation published in The Lancet found that the RTS,S malaria vaccine, rolled out in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi, prevented roughly one in eight deaths among eligible young children over four years. The WHO called it solid evidence the vaccine can change the trajectory of child mortality in Africa.
