The sneezing moose and the furious goldcrest

The Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards just dropped its 2026 shortlist: 40 finalists picked from more than 10,000 entries across 112 countries. Highlights include a sneezing moose caught mid-choo in Alberta, a goldcrest giving the camera pure fury in Germany, and meerkats in Namibia doing a last-minute hair check before the family photo. Winners get cameras; the overall champ gets a Kenyan safari — and the contest supports the Born Free Foundation.
