The world's longest biography by one author: 13 volumes, 2.1 million words

Sanskrit scholar Sadhu Adarshjivandas has done what no author has: written the longest biography by a single person — ever. Guinness World Records has recognized his 13-volume, 8,848-page life of the late spiritual leader Pramukh Swami Maharaj, running 2,146,447 words, researched and written in just 38 months. The certificate was presented at Wembley Arena in London on October 4 before 11,000 people. More than 310,000 copies of the volumes have already sold.
