Three Bedford students, one national final: WorldSkills beckons

Three students from the Bedford College Group are heading to the WorldSkills UK National Finals in Swansea on November 18-19. Jak Henson and Grzegorz Romanowski of Tresham College in Northampton and Gabriel Bartiromo of Bedford College earned their places through rigorous rounds of 3D-modelling and practical challenges — Bartiromo qualifying in Additive Manufacturing alongside his HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Behind them stands a web of 500 employers who support the group's T Level placements: vocational education working exactly as designed, with local businesses training the people they will one day hire.
