Three Puerto Ricans named among the 100 Latinos most committed to climate action

The 100 Latinos Most Committed to Climate Action list, published by the Sachamama organisation with news agency EFE for the International Day of Climate Action, honours three Puerto Ricans this year: Steffanie Munguía, Héctor 'Tito' Varela and Raimundo Espinoza, recognised for conservation work spanning coastal protection and reef preservation. Now in its eighth edition, the list this year opened 20 of its places to public nominations — a roll of honour built partly by the communities the honorees serve.
