Twenty solar wells are coming for Ghana's schools and villages
In Ghana, the school day still runs on water fetched by hand in too many places. A new agreement signed at KSrelief's Riyadh headquarters changes that arithmetic: over eight months, twenty solar-powered boreholes will go up across five regions — each with a 10-cubic-metre storage tank and six taps — serving an estimated 76,565 people in schools, a special-needs school, a university and surrounding communities. No diesel, no grid connection, no monthly fuel bill: just sunlight turned into clean water, every single day.
The upbeat factorhope — sunlight, turned into clean water.
