UNICEF and bKash make giving to children in Bangladesh a tap away

Millions of Bangladeshis can now donate to UNICEF directly through the bKash mobile app or its offline merchant network. The partnership, announced in Dhaka, folds UNICEF into the country's first digital donation platform, so small contributions from ordinary users flow into programs helping children survive, learn, and thrive. "Every contribution, no matter the size, can help create lasting change in a child's life," said Carla Haddad Mardini, UNICEF's global director of private fundraising and partnerships. bKash CEO Kamal Quadir said the move puts community generosity within easy reach.

The upbeat factorPocket change, multiplied by millions, becomes a child's future — warmth.
