UNICEF and the EU just gave Europe a playbook for keeping its children healthier

One in six children and young people in Europe lives with a mental health condition — and too many systems only react once things go wrong. UNICEF and the European Commission's new Prevention Toolkit flips that: a living platform, built over three years, that helps policymakers turn evidence into action across mental health, immunisation, early childhood development, and healthy lifestyles. Countries can browse what actually works elsewhere and adapt it. The mental-health section launched first, timed to World Mental Health Day.

The upbeat factorprevention, shared across borders like an open recipe book.
