With power tools and big hearts, volunteers build 40 beds so no child sleeps on the floor

In Columbus, Georgia, more than 40 volunteers from Aflac spent a day sawing, sanding and staining with the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, building 40 sturdy beds for local children who have been sleeping on floors. The company covered materials with a $20,000 donation, and the nonprofit's volunteers will deliver and assemble each bed at children's homes, complete with mattress and fresh bedding.

The upbeat factorforty children will end their next ordinary day by climbing into a bed of their own.
