Yoshinobu Yamamoto did something no pitcher in baseball history has ever done
In Game 3 of the National League Division Series on Tuesday night in Atlanta, Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto struck out a postseason career-high 10 batters over seven innings, giving up just one run and one walk in a 3–1 win over the Braves. The performance made him the first pitcher in Major League Baseball history to win five straight postseason starts while allowing no more than one run and one walk in any of them — and all five wins came on the road.
The upbeat factora new ‘never been done before’ line in the record book, written under October’s brightest lights.
