4,000 volunteers, 115 hunger organisations, 16 countries: one day that made more than 4 million meals reachable
On CoreGiving Day, more than 4,000 volunteers from Blackstone and thirty of its portfolio companies fanned out across 107 communities in 16 countries — stocking pantry shelves in North America, packing meal bags in India, rescuing produce in England, serving hot meals in Australia. Together with 115 hunger-relief organisations, their work made more than 4 million meals accessible to children and families facing hunger, and directly enabled over a million of them on the day itself. It was the sixth year of the effort — and its widest reach yet.
The upbeat factorhunger relief at the scale of millions of meals, delivered the oldest way there is — neighbours showing up.
