Goa's public hospitals just gained physiotherapy clinics where people already are

Getting physiotherapy in Goa used to mean travelling to a private clinic many families can't easily reach or afford. Now, new physiotherapy and rehabilitation centres have opened inside public facilities people already use: South Goa District Hospital in Margao, the Primary Health Center at Balli and the Community Health Center at Canacona. The centres, a collaboration between Parul University Goa and the state's Directorate of Health Services, bring recovery care — after injury, surgery or stroke — closer to home, helping patients regain mobility and independence without the long trip.
