Portugal's post asked the public to pick — and voters chose nature and farm soils
When Portugal's postal service CTT asked the public which projects should offset 241 tons of CO2 from its Green Mail service, voters chose nature twice: preserving the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park — restoring habitats, planting native species and clearing invasives — and a regenerative farming project working across ten European countries to store more carbon in soils.
The upbeat factorgiven a real choice, ordinary voters picked parks and healthy soil.
