Secret Santas wanted: one Texas meals team is matching gift-givers with older neighbours

For the 18th year, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels — the Texas team that delivers meals to older adults across Fort Bend and Waller counties — is running its Secret Santa programme, inviting neighbours, businesses and community groups to make the holidays brighter for the seniors it serves. It is a small, deliberate kind of kindness: for someone living alone, a gift chosen by a stranger who thought of them can become one of the nicest surprises of the season. The team is recruiting this year's Santas now — volunteers and gift-givers alike — through fortbendseniors.org.
