Seven years in, a Dhaka women's club is still quietly building homes and delivering wheelchairs

The Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Nightingale has marked its seventh foundation day by taking stock of a year of unglamorous, practical kindness. Its members have given financial help to build homes for vulnerable people and supplied wheelchairs to an elderly care home. Through the year the club also donates cervical-cancer prevention and hepatitis B vaccines to Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital, and nutrition packs and medical equipment to Azimpur Maternity Hospital. None of it makes headlines on its own. Together, repeated year after year, it is what a safety net actually looks like from the inside — neighbours who keep showing up.

The upbeat factorno gala, no ribbon — just seven years of homes built, wheelchairs delivered and vaccines donated.
