A shoebox satellite hitchhikes to the Moon
ATENEA, a shoebox-sized microsatellite built by engineers at the University of Buenos Aires, joined NASA's Artemis II, the only Latin American payload on the first crewed lunar mission in more than half a century. It traveled some 72,000 km out, measuring radiation and testing whether faint GPS signals could guide spacecraft far from Earth. One small box, helping draw the map for the road back to the Moon.
The upbeat factorFootball country, space-grade dreams.
