Cat-o'-lanterns: Battersea's rescue cats pose in their own pumpkin patch
At Battersea's London Cattery, Halloween arrived early and entirely on feline terms. Rescue cats and kittens posed this week in their very own pumpkin patch, complete with cuddly spiders, knitted mice and pet-friendly treats. One resident, Munchkin Pumpkin — exactly one pumpkin tall — was far from a scaredy-cat, scoping out the decorations with great seriousness, while Luna and Toffee inspected the additions and kittens Bat and George chose playtime over pumpkins. The photoshoot came with a serious tail: Battersea's tips for pet-proofing decorations at home, and an open invitation to meet the 'frightfully sweet' felines still hoping to cast a spell on an adopter.
